So let me get this straight. Game developers and I guess publishers are upset about stores selling used games that they legitimately purchased because selling used games is a lucrative business that the developers and publishers don't get a cut off of.

We hope people understand that when the game's bought used we get cheated

They're definitely not the only ones who hold such a view. Developers have also been putting incentives into their games to get people to buy their games new, which is something that I have less of a problem with.
