Why would I ignore one of the more practically smart people on this forum? Guys a grumpy old fart, but he's got a lot of life experience and gives a natives perspective of NH which I appreciate.
I wondered about one of my hobbies for example and he (in a grumpy but helpful way) gave me insight that I can continue to use sleds when I move.
Do you want us all to treat you with kid gloves Mr. Libman? Dragline isn't the only guy that gives reality checks, but at least he has the experience and success to back up his words.
One last point. Everybody that actually gets shit done has a tendency to be a bit gruff with age. I can tell you my BBS persona is much more polite and easy going than what I am like in real life, so in a way Dragline is more honest then me.
Don't take the name calling so damn seriously.

No.  That was actually one of his best posts in which he articulated a semi-coherent point.  Him deleting my lengthy and well-thought-out post from his sauna death thread is what prompted this particular response, but he had it coming for years.

Here's a little something you might have missed: the word "trolling" has no meaning whatsoever.  None.  Zilch.  I can call you a troll.  You can call me a troll.  Everyone and no one is a troll.  If we lived in a Monty Python sketch about the dark ages, you might as well have been using the word "witch".  I mock this concept by calling myself a troll, but that doesn't mean jack shit.  All of human civilization is nothing but "trolling", if you want to call it that, or it's "jhdfpwuiodfhing" if you choose to call it jhdfpwuiodfhing instead.

Yeah, sure he can be a little rough around the edges sometimes, but like alaric89 said, thats because he's one of those types of people that "gets shit done" and that personality comes with the territory sometimes. I wont be adding him to the ignore list myself since I like his style for the most part.

I would suggest taking a nice long walk down to the gas station, buy yourself a Snickers bar and eat it during the walk home. You should feel much better by the time you get back. Thats what I suggest to my nephews and neices and it seems to work for them when theyre pissed off.

Heh...  As a tax resister I don't buy taxed candy bars.  It also goes against my diet for nutritional reasons as well.  Anyways, I'm mostly angry at myself about writing a rant about sauna preparation, athletic heroism, etc while forgetting whose thread it was on.  But still - fuck Dragline!
