FTL Propaganda.

I was thinking about spreading these around my school. (I have a better quality version on my computer.)

awesome, but i dunno about posting it in my school because you have to get all types of approval.  Sorta worried about how school would take it too, but never know until you try i guess.

Christ, kid, just post the thing when no one's looking.  If there's a camera in the lobby where the bulletin board is (or even if there isn't), tape them in bathroom stalls, tuck them under wiper blades in the parking lot, tuck them into books in the library (frequently used ones, as well as any written by Ayn Rand, or about Thomas Jefferson, or that sort of thing), and so on.  Be creative.  And don't get caught.   8)

It's good and I don't want to complain because I couldn't do better. But it looks kind of unpolished.

I agree it looks a bit unpolished.  I could dabble around in Photoshop for a while and rebuild it, if anyone is actually going to use it.

Here's the prob with that.  i won't get in trouble for posting them up, but if I do it w/o approval they'll get torn down immediately.  So, It'd be in my best interest to get it approved so that they don't get torn down as fast.  Besides, i'd be able to repeatedly repost if I get it approved and could post it in all my classes instead of just 2.

Here's the problem with THAT.  If you ask permission, they'll know it's you -- thus, WHEN they say "no," you won't be able to post it AT ALL.  If you don't ask permission, and just post it around all sneaky-like, LET THEM BE TORN DOWN QUICKLY.  In the time that they're actually up, SOME people will see them.  If they find one in a book, for example, they're gonna look at it.  And it isn't just other kids you can reach -- you might inspire a faculty member who receives a report of something posted in one of the stalls of the boys' bathroom, for example.  Just in the off chance, you know?  You might get through to one, or three, or five people, and you'll never know whether you did or how many you reached, but at least there's a chance that way.

I don't know if my principal will say no or not, he's actually fair and understanding, but i might take the approach of "it is easier to get forgiveness than permission."

At my community college they let you pass anything around as long as it's not promoting hate or violence against others.

I went to a 'Best of Sacramento' party last night  http://www.sacmag.com/bestofsac.shtm
There were about 7000 poeple there and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to "Spread the word"
I printed out about 30 copies of the "Worlds Smallest Political Quiz" and wrote 'TheAdvocates.org' and 'FreeTalkLive.com" on each one.  I handed them out to people and left some here and there like vendor booths and other displays.  It was just me doing this so there was only so much I could do, but I did see people grab them off the booth and look at them.  Even some stick it in their pocket.  The ones that I handed to, I didnt really talk to them (wasn't really prepared for that).  In some cases, they were handing me a flyer so I said "lets trade" and gave them mine.  It was kind of a last minute idea.  It was either that or some Flying Spaghetti Monster flyers.  I also printed a couple of FTL flyers and left them at the radio stations booths.  There were a couple there, including a talk radio station.   I wanted to talk to them, but there were too many people already talking to them and they seemed pretty busy.
Maybe next time I can do a little more.
