FTL buddy icons.

I just thought about this like, 2 seconds ago.  I was looking at my buddy icon (currently promoting a band, "10 Years"), and I realized it's been up there for quite some time.  I thought, "I should change that."  And that prompted, "It sure would be cool if there was an FTL icon..."

Forgive me if someone has already posted someting similar, but you know those little pictures that people insert into their AIM dialouge boxes--Has anyone made one to advertise FTL yet?  That would probaly be a good idea.  Post it right on the front page of FTL's site, so people can advertise the show when they talk to their friends and family all over the country...

"hey, what's that free talk live thing all about?"

Just an idea.  If anyone feels so inclined as to design one, that sure would be swell...

I'd love an FTL icon.  It would go up immediately.  Too bad icon making isn't one of my many skills.

Didn't work for me.  Got the error message:

"The height and width of the image must not be more than 64 pixels or less than 15 pixels."

yeah it works. Perhaps it should be redone for clarity though? I mean, you can't see that it says 'FTL' on it (not that it would matter if you didn't know what it stood for anyway though...). It's cool though for the time being. Personaly, I have a smaller version of my avatar image here as my buddy icon.

Well... yes and no.  Yes, that's actually me and it was the 80s (as I was born in '75 and that's my senior high school pic).  But I had someone here (who's name escapes me at the moment) "fix" it to make my glasses (which I do wear IRL) into 3-D glasses to match a fad going around this board.  :)

Then when the fad was declared dead I left it because I like the 3-D glasses and because I'm not much for following rules... I only joined the fad becouse I thought this particular pic would look especially good in 3-D glasses.  :)

I'm just taking notes for the Church of Sox thing. You know, it's funny to talk about this stuff, but seriously, I think a church is a great way to make a lot of money. And I wouldn't feel bad about it either. Have you every seen Leap of Faith? I just think it's all a big show. People give what they want.
