FWIW, I didn't actually want to talk about pedophiles that long or even at all. One thing I learned from this off-air format is when there are no breaks, you have to be ready with the next material right when you're done with a subject so it really has to be lined up. Normally you can be lining up the next subject/article/whatever during the breaks. I had that pedo thread as a sort of backup topic but wasn't even expecting to get to it. I thought Neal or Jay would have something and they left me high and dry! Did you catch that moment about 40 mins in when I'm asking them if they had something they wanted to talk about and *crickets*. "So... uhm... pedophiles..." Neal suddenly had something hilarious to talk about right at the end. Some porn fiction that was purposefully the worst porn ever.

Fuckers.

I think we got stuck in the whole article reading mode, which is probably why my mind was drifting and couldn't come up with much. Should be more of a "close the laptop" kinda show, lol.

DTE are you talking about? We didn't read a single article.

I think the creation of the thread is pretty much equivalent to an open invitation to share your thoughts on it. I can handle it.

Neal and Jay, on the other hand... Nah, I'm sure they're fine. Jay might troll you.

Just started listening.

So far, I like the super big gay dance party intro music.

More thoughts to come.

* Yes, peeee-nis does sound worse than cock n' balls.

* Noticed a bit of dead air now and then. Maybe should have taken more advantage of the "after dark" aspect of the show. Ya know, maybe get some gay porn stars in the studio and let them ride a Sybian machine. Needs some spice.

* Not enough boobies for my taste, but an ok show for a first go-round.

I'll give it a C+

I find it interesting how every single show copies FTL's format to a T. Even down to the way your show notes are separated with a double-colon.

"Hi, This is _________, and with you are _______, _______ and  ________."

I can't blame anyone for imitating what they have experienced, but I still think it's interesting.

I was trained to archive FTL on those nights when I took over as host. I did it the same way. I guess I could arbitrarily change something like use semi-colons instead or something, but why? I guess we could introduce the show by singing or something. I don't know. I was a co-host on FTL for years before doing my own show. It feels like I'd be changing basic format things for no particular reason other than to be different. The content is different. That's what really matters, I think.

I don't care about being trolled.

But I think I'm just gonna keep my opinions to myself.

I tried twice, both lengthy, and really exactly what I wanted to say.  But from your POV, I think it comes off crass, and I don't want to give that impression.

I think you should be a little more diverse, and research your topics a little more thoroughly.  Thats all I'm gonna say directly.

Now I'm just getting surly.  I feel like I got a lapdance from Daniel Tosh and he gave me the garbage out of his pockets from two years ago.
