I have not been able to call in yet, to listen to the show live I have to stay up all night so I would most likely be incoherent by the time I would be able to get on. Sleep deprivation does not suit me well.

But now I'm on a mission to mend. Everything that broke and make it glisten again. Strip down, redesign, construct, and improve. While the rest procrastinate I'll be making my move.

I see :)  I am assuming you are in europe then?  Because i'm on the east coast, and it comes on at 7pm

Looking at my picture, my eyes look all green.  They're blue in real life. . .

Cyberspacing a diarrheastorm of useless opinions does not imply expectation of caring.  This forum is a one way function, like a toilet.  You dump, you flush, you move on.

That perspective explains a lot-- most notably, a good reason to ignore anything Libman says, ever.

Sleep deprivation does not suit me well.

I worked 3rd shift for a while, midnight to 8:30am.

After about two months, the manager changed me to evenings out of pity.

They guy they replaced me with had thyroid problems and would occasionally fall asleep, but his asleep was more functional than my "awake".

Wrong!  The double dash is used to demarcate a parenthetical thought -- like this one -- while what your sentence probably needed was a regular dash - which I use a lot.

I worked the 11-7:30 shift for 18 mos, as long as they didn't change it, I was good, but I'd die if they threw in a 10am-5pm on me. . ..

Those are hyphens, not dashes.

I was speaking in terms of keyboard usage.  In terms of anal grammatical correctness, a hyphen is shorter than a dash and is used to join compound-words and separate syl-la-bles of a single word.  That distinction has disappeared with the advent of typewriters, however, because no one wants to use "-" for a hyphen, "--" for a minus sign, "---" for a regular dash, "----" for a decrement operator, "-----" for an en dash, "------" for an em dash, "-------" for a horizontal bar, "--------" for a double decrement operator, and so on.

I really think we need a picture of Libman.

We have one. I'll look for it again.
