I know that the FSP IT directory (Steve C.) is a hell of a busy guy... once you've read the IT plan and the other docs in the FSP-IT yahoo group, deon't hesitate to send mails to the group insitently asking for something to do
They'll give you something pretty small at first; if you prove useful, you'll get successively bigger responsibilities.
