Changing delegate minds.. Questions..
« on: February 09, 2012, 08:12:34 AM »

If there is anyone who knows this please explain.. The states which have primary delegates that are not binded to vote a particular presidential candidate; what is to stop supporters from focusing on changing the minds of just the delegates before their final vote?

In other words : What is stopping Ron Paul supporters from stealing the whole show by finding out who the other candidates delegates are and focusing on these few people (instead of the millions of masses) and convincing them to vote for Ron??

The party elite, who pulled all sorts of dirty tricks last time, will do so again.  There were reports of just about every kind of mischief, from turning off mics to keep Paul delegates from speaking to falsifying counts.

If you are unlikely to be persuaded by financially motivated causes, you are of little value to the financiers.

Great idea, spam them with ideas to convince them that cp should be legal and that meth should be available at 7/11!  That should convince them to vote for RP!

There's no need to "change the delegates' minds", since all of the delegates are already Ron Paul supporters.  The rubes who are voting in these primaries/caucuses, vote and go home, thinking they've "done their part".  RP has told his supporters to stick around and actually volunteer to be delegates.  It's a job that not many want to do.  RP is setting up a brokered convention (why else would we see first one candidate, then another, rise to the top?), so that during the first round of voting in Tampa, no one gets the majority of votes, and the delegates are then free to vote for whomever they want.  The second round of voting will see RP win a supermajority of votes.

It is necessary to do it this way, since the GOP party establishment is doing everything it can to cook the numbers.
