*** Meeting ***

Official party members and non-members alike are invited to attend a socialmeeting on Saturday 29 March 2008 in London. This will be an opportunity tomeet other like-minded individuals within the convivial setting of a publichouse opposite the Houses of Parliament. The venue is St Stephens Tavern in Westminster. A location map is here[http://tinyurl.com/3cqret]. We have booked the upper floor of the pub forour own private use, and look forward to seeing all who can make it, from3pm onwards.

I hope you gather a bunch of people Ziggy. . . there's certainly got to be many people who are sick of the overbearing government in the UK.

Unless it's like the libertarian party we have here that sounds really good and proper, yet it's just a bag of shit lit on fire.

Any chance of liberty in the UK is dead. The lack of a state system coupled with the dire state of party politics means a political solution is essentially impossible and the people here are 10 years ahead of Americans in terms of blind obedience to authority. I can't think of a single way a non-political solution could be achieved. The UK is dense with government and idiots.

There are a few crumbs of comfort to be had in wales however.

Also Paul Flynn is the best MP in the UK (also from Wales), although that's not saying much. He's the only MP who (as far as i can tell) supports a complete legalization/decriminalization of drugs. He was the only MP to vote against the ludicrous decision to make possession of magic mushrooms Class A. Although he still carries around a big bag of gun hating, wealth redistributing socialism, but what other politician doesn't?

My current plan is to focus on my various business ventures till I can afford to set up some business concerns in America and move to the Free State. Although obviously if the coming recession sparks a repeal of immigration restrictions I'll be moving as soon as possible. Most of my "political" action revolves around turning people onto Libertarianism/Objectivism and the FSP and donating money to US liberty groups, as any money spent on UK freedom interests is as good as throwing it in the shitter.
