We used to have a guy on our street with about a 70 Charger and big ass tires on it.  He'd do burnouts literally all the way down the street.  He'd start and one end and lay rubber in an S pattern all up the street--about 200 yards.  The guy was insane.  Even back THEN the tires were something like $110 each...this was in the 70s.  I hear he became a cop.

My prediction, which I'm not surprised to find is a lot of folks' predictions, and probably in line with a lot of people here, is as follows.

** SPOILER ALERT **

Click "quote" to read:
Walt DID poison the kid and make Jesse think Gus did it to get Jesse to agree to kill Gus finally. The overall character arc for Walt shows him being forced into darker and darker acts out of desperation from the violent nature of the drug war. However, what I did not figure out is that Walt might use a lesser poison that is unlikely to actually kill the kid but rather just mimic some effects of ricin(sp?). More on that below. Meanwhile, Walt's story arc will ultimately (by the end of the "last" season, season 5) land with him taking Gus' place as the big bad willing to do whatever it takes to stay in power. We will want him to stay a good person but it's not meant to be. The drug war will inevitably corrupt him.

Further prediction: Jesse will not find out Walt did it until sometime next season when it serves the story to escalate the drama.

The thing is, the kid definitely wasnt poisoned with Jesses poison. He had it in his possession that day, but the poison takes several days to kick in. That is a big detail.
