When I was a kid I got some dried beans and some steaks from a aunt. I boiled the beans in a cast iron saucepan for 24 hours, added onions a bottle of Tabasco and some chopped steak. Pretty simple really. It was pretty good. I have never managed to duplicate it though.

Funny how time makes you think shit was really cool or good when you were a kid.

I remember when I was 12, me and a few friends made these swords and shields out of industrial strength type cardboard, all painted up with crests and gothic looking symbols and stuff. So fast forward like 15 yrs, were sitting around getting high one day reminiscing on that, talking about how cool they were. Few years later, mom is cleaning out the basement and finds the swords and shields we made................. not NEARLY as cool as we remember them.
