Jones's an asshole? Really? Maybe he can't control his temper and maybe he believes that there are lizard people( just look at Washington D.C.  ) but the truth is that Morgan was even worse.  It is a well known fact that other shooters were also on meds before they went on a shooting rampage.  Jones tried to point that out but Morgan spat his indiference to Jones about that point. What was the solution brought up by Morgan to deal with Jones? He demonized him and went as far as to call him insane. Insane? A long time ago Jones warned about a society that would be finally under total surveillance. His warning sign was the U.K. Now the U.S. is as bad if not worse than the U.K. So, asshole and insane and crackpot? Really?

An article was posted about a mother that shot an intruder to protect her kids. If Morgan had its way she and her kids would probably be dead waiting for the cops.

He goes in there to talk about gun control, screaming and pointing his finger at the other asshole, then goes off on a tangent, talking about "poison pills", knowing full well that 99.9% of the population has no fucking idea, not even a clue what he's talking about.

I'm with him on guns, but even I found myself cringing at his total lack of composure. If you go on a show trying to get a message through to people who are on the fence, you don't wanna come off looking like you just ganked up an 8 ball right before the show and start acting completely batshit insane.

Each time Jones brought up the subject on those "poisonills" Morgan made damn sure it would not be talked about. Like him or not Jones had a very impotant point to make right then and then. Morgan wants to ban guns, Jones doesn't. I don't like guns and don't have one but iff need be I sure would like to be able to have one. The government has no right to tell me I must depend on it or the cops. Far too many people have already done so and paid the price.

I just went to Jones's website and rewatched that CNN interview. Morgan was exactly what Jones said, a hatchet man that had absolutely no intention of having a read debate. Jones's real problem is exactly what you pointed out, he can't control his temper. But then, and this said objectively, Jones can't be blamed when one sees how dishonest Morgan was. Have you seen Morgan when HE lost it with someone from the NRA? Morgan lost any credibility in my eye from that moment on, though it was alread lost a long time ago any way.

Yeah, I saw Morgan with that GOA guy on. Called him an idiot and stupid. Morgan is a huge asshole, but a different breed of asshole than AJ. PM is just ignorant and on top of that, he has a huge ego....... bad combo. AJ, on the other hand is an opportunist, which in itself, is not a bad thing, but he brings shock value into things, on purpose, to further his listenership, whether in a good light or bad, makes no difference to him. If he can get people to listen to his show because they think he's nuts, that's just as good in his eyes as a listener who completely agrees with him. Its a numbers game and AJ is a showman above all else.

Lets say you and I hang out and there's this chick I know really well and you wanna go out with her, so you ask me to "put in a good word" for you. I agree. Me and this chick go have lunch so I can pitch my case for how good a guy you are, then right in the middle of the conversation about you, I start going off on lizard people and 911 conspiracies and yelling at her at the top of my lungs about unrelated shit that has nothing to do with your desire to get in this chicks pants. How do you think this will bode for your chances with her?

I see Jones as the court jester. See? No one takes him seriously and he knows it. Even his fans probably see him at least partially like that. What the critics like Morgan fail to see is that a court jester can almost get away with anything he says, even the truth! Take Colbert Report. The perfect example. Out of their insanity do come some truths that would be normally killed by the medias.
