Jones's an asshole? Really? Maybe he can't control his temper and maybe he believes that there are lizard people( just look at Washington D.C. :P ) but the truth is that Morgan was even worse. It is a well known fact that other shooters were also on meds before they went on a shooting rampage. Jones tried to point that out but Morgan spat his indiference to Jones about that point. What was the solution brought up by Morgan to deal with Jones? He demonized him and went as far as to call him insane. Insane? A long time ago Jones warned about a society that would be finally under total surveillance. His warning sign was the U.K. Now the U.S. is as bad if not worse than the U.K. So, asshole and insane and crackpot? Really?
An article was posted about a mother that shot an intruder to protect her kids. If Morgan had its way she and her kids would probably be dead waiting for the cops.

He goes in there to talk about gun control, screaming and pointing his finger at the other asshole, then goes off on a tangent, talking about "poison pills", knowing full well that 99.9% of the population has no fucking idea, not even a clue what he's talking about.
I'm with him on guns, but even I found myself cringing at his total lack of composure. If you go on a show trying to get a message through to people who are on the fence, you don't wanna come off looking like you just ganked up an 8 ball right before the show and start acting completely batshit insane.

Each time Jones brought up the subject on those "poisonills" Morgan made damn sure it would not be talked about. Like him or not Jones had a very impotant point to make right then and then. Morgan wants to ban guns, Jones doesn't. I don't like guns and don't have one but iff need be I sure would like to be able to have one. The government has no right to tell me I must depend on it or the cops. Far too many people have already done so and paid the price.
I just went to Jones's website and rewatched that CNN interview. Morgan was exactly what Jones said, a hatchet man that had absolutely no intention of having a read debate. Jones's real problem is exactly what you pointed out, he can't control his temper. But then, and this said objectively, Jones can't be blamed when one sees how dishonest Morgan was. Have you seen Morgan when HE lost it with someone from the NRA? Morgan lost any credibility in my eye from that moment on, though it was alread lost a long time ago any way.

Yeah, I saw Morgan with that GOA guy on. Called him an idiot and stupid. Morgan is a huge asshole, but a different breed of asshole than AJ. PM is just ignorant and on top of that, he has a huge ego....... bad combo. AJ, on the other hand is an opportunist, which in itself, is not a bad thing, but he brings shock value into things, on purpose, to further his listenership, whether in a good light or bad, makes no difference to him. If he can get people to listen to his show because they think he's nuts, that's just as good in his eyes as a listener who completely agrees with him. Its a numbers game and AJ is a showman above all else.

Lets say you and I hang out and there's this chick I know really well and you wanna go out with her, so you ask me to "put in a good word" for you. I agree. Me and this chick go have lunch so I can pitch my case for how good a guy you are, then right in the middle of the conversation about you, I start going off on lizard people and 911 conspiracies and yelling at her at the top of my lungs about unrelated shit that has nothing to do with your desire to get in this chicks pants. How do you think this will bode for your chances with her?

I see Jones as the court jester. See? No one takes him seriously and he knows it. Even his fans probably see him at least partially like that. What the critics like Morgan fail to see is that a court jester can almost get away with anything he says, even the truth! Take Colbert Report. The perfect example. Out of their insanity do come some truths that would be normally killed by the medias.

Agreed. If only he'd let go of those lizard tales and stop screaming. Then and only then would more people take him more seriously. By the way, I've heard him on Coast to Coast and he was far far calmer than on that CNN mess. In a way I can't fault him "that much" when one realizes how much of a hatchet man Morgan is. Jones had a message. Right or wrong he had one while Morgan was hell bent on destroying Jones. Morgan doesn't even have a hint of class like Larry King had.

Just watched the Hachet Channel, aka CNN. Hatchet Morgan interviewing Larry Pratt is quite a spectacle if you ask me.
Let's see. Not too long ago it was a white power we had to be afraid of and then a bug and then dirty bombs. That last one was fascinating when seeing some news reporter expressing his terror and fear of the "possibility" of a dirty bomb attack because it's supposed to be easy to do all the while Blitzer was nodding in awe at that news reporter. Now it's "The Gun". And each time something new to be feared popped up its clown head it was Blitzer and the Gang that were busy banging those drums of fear. Maybe Jones is crazy and maybe even Pratt but he's right about Morgan. He's a hatchet man and now one has to be in total denial not to see CNN in the same way.

He's been warning about this thing called military industrial complex and it has nothing to do with shyness. Is he insane? And this is where I have to wonder what kind of gasses he's been breathing. Either he's a complete fool and as insane as it gets of he's playing that role so a few truths can come out. If it's the second option I say he should simply shut up for ever because he's hurting what ever cause he's supposed to be standing for. By the way, my reference to chemical weapons was because of a CNN news presentation where it was said that Syria(?) had a stock pile of those and also there were allegations of them having been used. Strangely that was never mentioned again.
Now this brings me to something that has been bothering me for some time. "Out there" there are real seriously bad conspiracies to destroy what ever privacy and freedom we (supposedly) have. One just has to think as to how WW2 started or the Vietnam war started. Add Iraq to the list. Even more important we see, usually 3 or 4 decades after information coming out proving that a certain conspiracy was true. This means the rabbit hole is real and that there is something to be found at the bottom. Still, it isn't meant to be found for decades.
So what to do with conspiracy people? Me I see them as a huge resource of people that could be made to join a freedom movement. Laughing them off has has been done on FTL only makes them stubbornly more entrenched in their own beliefs.
Now take people in love with cops. While not all cops are bastards there are more than enough proof to show that there is a huge number of cops that are out to maim and even kill people just because they can. CopBlock is showing that being true each and every day. CopBlock is actually making a difference and is having an impact on how cops must behave. Now they know they just can't get away as easily as they used to with brutality and even murder. So why not some PoliticianBlock? I suspect that would make conspiracy people pause and think. There is something that can be seen and proven. No more wasting time with rabbit holes. No more wasting time voting for one party after having been shafted by the other. I suspect that is what a government would be terrified of. I also suspect that it would make the Free State Project a hell of a lot more worth while to look at and even join than to go on following that religion called politics.

U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel announced today that the United States has evidence chemical weapons have been used in Syria.
Hagel's remarks come a couple of days after an Israeli intelligence official said Damascus was using weapons banned under international law against its own people in the country's civil war. Syria has said rebels have used chemical weapons.
