Al Jazeera
« on: January 29, 2011, 04:38:35 PM »

I've spent the last 24 hours watching Al Jazeera English on and off.  What a breath of fresh air.

- no terrorcrat fellating
- very, very few terrorcrat interviews (a result, no doubt, of not fellating terrorcrats)
- many, many, many interviews with people with skin in the game representing many different viewpoints
- constant attempts to confirm facts with many people on the ground
- an actual promo, "journalism without borders"

I now have an answer for people that ask, "whatever happened to journalism?"  All the journalists went to work for Al Jazeera.

I've been hearing a lot about it the past month and got around to checking it out. Watched the Egypt coverage last night. I agree, very refreshing news source.
