Agorist business practices?
« on: May 24, 2011, 02:45:01 AM »

I want to discuss ideas, solutions, procedures, practices and systems to conduct business out from under the watchful eye of big brother.
I know about bitcoin but am nervous about using it yet I am still willing to give it a try, that would cover payment, refunds, business expenses, overhead and various other expenses.

How about shipping from a non traceable yet reusable address? I would like the ability to ship reliably and still allow my customers to ship returns and have a reliable way to contact me in case of problems.

Time sensitive ads without the need to physically store costumer data that could be quickly shipped to a voluntary subscriber list without spamming people who are not interested. I thought about a website I could post ads on and simply include the address of it in products that are shipped to consumers but I would rather offer them prior to first purchases through word of mouth or have them saved and emailed back to me with an order.

Would it be efficient if I use the alpha-numerical bitcoin addresses of customers to track billing rather than store actual names on a database?

Ideas appreciated, anything not in my post that anybody feels important please throw it in or hijack this shit but either way, ideas would be appreciated.
Naturally, I would use FTL as my primary source of advertisement.

I think it would be a bad idea to do most of this stuff.

First of all a lot of it isn't necessary.  The idea isn't to run a spy ring its to run a business.

I'm still skeptical about bitcoin.  It is a money system with nothing of value backing it up.  Using something like that would also limit your the number of clients you'll get.  Use cash.  Cash is also a bit more anonymous.
