I find it really vile that someone set up a website and purchased a domain and pays for the bandwidth just to host those gruesome pictures. I also find Rob's apparent fixation on them to be extremely troubling. Why he would instantly retrieve and post them in this thread is beyond me. And then to repost and finally link them after being asked not to? Ugh. I was as appalled by that image as I was by any of the Goatse style images that Taors and BJ posted a while back that basically ran me off the bbs for a long time. I didn't want to see them. I didn't need to see that, either. That's straight out of Rotten.com. Cars are dangerous, I know. All I can say is, that girl's death was instant, so at least she didn't suffer. Clearly, her father exercised very poor judgement in giving her the keys to a very fast German sports car. I don't think it is even remotely appropriate to rub his face in it, but as to Rillion's question, it's too late to stop these images from circulating, they're out there. Even if they get that domain shut down, those pictures are all over the place. I say, they sue the CHP assholes who released them and be done with it. That's ultimately where the responsibility lies. Once they are made to pay these people should just move on with their lives. I do think it creates an opportunity for someone to help the family out by trying to devise a means of filtering their web and e-mail content so they are much less likely to see those images again.
