The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people , but the expression of our COLLECTIVE will.

I guess Obama isnt facist/socialist enough for these freaks. Talking about how health insurance is a natural right. I actually thought about joining their forum for some debate, but snapped out of it and realized I would probably have better luck trying to talk some sense to one of these...................

Yeah.. this is shitty. I think both the Tea & Coffee groups are doing nothing more than fucking things up even further, mostly by simple distraction.

A friend of mine on FB suggested that I might be interested in that.. I'm always hit with stuff like this on that site. A different friend and I just had an exchange where she summed me up as evil and thinking myself superior to others because I don't support government programs for kids and welfare.

FB should have another category of pals who are labeled "Kindalike Friends".

They should have called it the Koolaid Party instead.  Blind faith in a cult-like "authority" is what they're all about!

To totally kill this meme, would anyone like to join my Filtered Rainwater Party?  It's healthy, rational, and tax-free!

Looks like a bunch of big-government liberals who think government will suddenly work if they're in charge.

So to them, the solution to stupid is stupid?

COFFEE PARTY MISSION STATEMENT

The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.

Reward thine friend and punish thine enemies, and work for together for the mother land!

Slavery is good, if it's not racist slavery.

You see, since the federal government is the expression of our collective will, it ought to be able to command your time and labor, since it's what you want to do, anyways.

You know, it's sorta a coincidence.  I grew up with the Stueve family, of the Alta Dena Dairy, referenced in the recent FreeTalkLive story about raw milk.

They fought the government (California gov, I think) for years and millions of dollars to retain the right to distribute raw milk, and ultimately lost.  They were excellent people.  The dairy was spotless, and they won countless awards for quality in the LA County area.  I believe they actually "invented" frozen yogurt.  We sampled it there before we'd ever heard about it.  Several (church, parochial school) events a year were held there, and they provided all sorts of fund raising opportunities.  Their children went to the various local Lutheran schools.

Anyway, before giving up milk altogether, I spent several years drinking their raw product.  Incidentally, switching to raw cleared up my acne as a teenager.  Wouldn't be surprised if homogenized/pasteurized milk contributes to teen acne.  I truly think the reason why governments outlawed the raw milk is because the other dairies have shitty sanitation practices, and the pasteurization became the lazy way out for them; since they didn't want to compete, they ganged up on the quality dairies and outlawed the product.
