Listening to the show on podcast, I heard some questions and some points that were a little off.
For instance, the black market for cannabis in CO is still active and product sourced there is 20-50% cheaper than in the retail system. Even with this, the legal retail chains are killing it with revenue.
Legalization has also enabled a booming free market for specialization of the product. When I was a kid, "weed" meant a random brick of dried up sticks and seeds. This week I went to a retail shop and purchased a CO2 extracted hash oil specifically bred for high CBD cannabinol content. Ideal for pain management with a lessened THC psychoactive component.
This is genuine medicine and alleviates arthritis pain better than Advil/NSAID's with very little mental alteration.
Very cool stuff and a shining example of how liberty improves quality of life and stimulates innovation.
