Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for mentioning Bitcoin in the show that's running on LRN right now. It's not clear when it was recorded, but I suppose it doesn't much matter.

Just FYI, there is now an excellent Bitcoin application for Android, which I use daily - it's called Bitcoin Spinner. It's fast, easy, and relatively secure. It also allows you to export your wallet's private key via a QR code, which is nice. My phone is encrypted, and I just sent myself an encrypted copy of a screenshot. To restore my wallet, all I needed to do was scan it, and I had all my coins back instantly. Easy

I recently heard that there was a first-gen application published now for iOS - but it requires that the client download the entire block chain, which takes a while and takes a lot of space.
