Do you agree with the required classes that a student must take to earn a degree?
Do you feel someone that is excellent in Math but not good in English, should be required to take English classes to earn a degree;or should the student be allowed to choose Math classes to earn a degree in Math, as long as a credit requirement is met?
Should a student get to choose all of the classes they take to earn a degree?
Do you feel some very intelligent, valuable people have been prevented from earning a degree based on the requirement of one or a few classes (example: a math major can not pass a required English class)?
Should students be required to take classes they have no interest in?
Should students be required to provide immunization records?
Should students be required to prove identity through DNA?

They should be able to choose each and every class, but they shouldn't get a degree unless they meet the requirements of the people giving out the degrees. Those people answer to accrediting organizations who are supposed to verify that the degree

Students should be able to choose any class they want. If those classes dont meet the requirements set by a prospective employer though, I dont wanna hear any bitching from them when they cant get a job. Class requirements should be set between the student and the prospective employer, not between the student and the school. The school/student relationship creates all sorts of bad policy on the part of the school who MIGHT just require you to take a class they know full well you dont need, just so they can get a few extra bucks out of you. Inefficiency at its finest.
Pretty obvious.
