What's great about losing all hope is that any that appears afterwards is a wonderful thing.

Just new FBI pamphlets saying that buying coffee and paying cash for it is a that the customer might be a domestic terrorist.
Just a camel back straw. Nothing special. I think it's that little shit that makes people who aren't stronger snap and go apeshit. Some story about a shoelace regulation or some shit and bruh man goes off the deep end.
There was a dude in one of Douglas Adam's books called Wonko the Sane.
Quote
"One day, after coming across a set of detailed instructions on a set of toothpicks, John Watson, distressed and fearing for the world's sanity, built The Asylum to put it in and help it get better.
The Asylum can be described as a four-walled house turned inside out.
To elaborate: the ceiling turns outwards, the furniture and carpet rests on the coast, the door one would normally believe to lead into a house leads outwards to a lawn with benches and walking paths, an area John calls "Outside the Asylum", in which is mounted the instructions for the toothpicks to discourage going back in it. "
Lil' shit. It's what finally makes someone go nuts.

Yeah, I think its just the sick sense of humor of the guys that write the pamphlets. No way they could enforce stuff like that, since just about everyone pays cash for a cup of coffee and 99% of the rest of their little bullet points they use to describe possible DT. Its their way of saying "everyone is considered a domestic terrorist".
Anymore, I just look at anything the govt does as a really bad B comedy flick. Its all I can do.

I keep thinking lately that 99% of all people fall into two categories the really stupid, or complete assholes (borderline evil).

I think I found something like a happy medium between caring too much or complete resignation. I've decided to ignore politics altogether and just concentrate on my own community, at least until/if I move to NH. I help run a food bank, and I've convinced a lot of my friends to stop considering the government as a means for solving their problems. And I've got almost all of them using bitcoin and/or precious metals.
One of the biggest problems is that it's almost all people my age and younger who listen. Our parents and older friends? Forget it. My dad voted for Ron Paul in the primary but now he's convinced that anyone who doesn't vote for Romney is a secret Muslim extremist. The hardest part has been for me to stop caring about my parents enough to try to convince them.
But anyway, my point is, there's always SOMETHING you can do to help make yourself and your neighbors more free. It doesn't make the frustration go away, but it takes the edge off sometimes.

I'm working locally.
I go to the courthouse when I can schedule time between appointments at work, and chat with the people there. I don't do anything fancy like holding signs or passing up pamphlets. I just talk.
People who pay parking tickets seem pretty open to frustration with big government when they're on the brunt side of it.
Jurors on break are open to hearing about nullification. Its better than shouting on the internet.
