What is your strategy for avoiding the 2010 census? I hear on the Internet that it is rarely prosecuted, but I have found at least two cases where it was. In one case, the plaintiffs argued that it violated the US Constitution's 5th Amendment and the Supreme Court's "right to privacy" rulings. A court right below the Supreme Court agreed briefly and then changed its mind on a whim.
One interesting case is this one:
http://altlaw.org/v1/cases/440249The guy got off the hook because he very publicly opposed the census. He argued the government prosecuted him arbitrarily because he was so outspoken, and that it did not use equal standards against him as others for deciding to take up his case. Lesson learned: if you are a loud mouthed advocate for some issue then you are more likely to have the case thrown out! (Seems applicable to other forms of activism as well. Liberty Dollar guys: are you reading that link??)
I know there are cases where the goons with guns are forbidden to attack you if the paperwork doesn't have certain OMB codes on it, but we won't know if that will work until the paperwork is released. Also, if you refuse certain things related to religion then you can be safe, but I'm not sure the rules.
