I wonder at what point and to what severity that one has to "drink the koolaid" to believe bitcoin software, or ANY software, is non-hackable. LOL Will there be an "eat crow" moment? Should a "fantasy bitcoin pot" be started to guess when the whole thing will implode?
Maybe the bitcoin mining that drove up their prices in the beginning was already that. But physical currency is known to be hackable. If anything, you have to compare it to that.

Dale, would comfort play into this?
I mean, I am ok with talking to another Jewish person about the origins of Jewish stereotypes, but I would just have no interest in having that same conversation with a non-Jew. It would be a bit grating to parse yourself apart like a lab specimen for someone else to see. I can totally understand that.
I would imagine that its equally difficult to talk to a black person about the relatively high crime levels in their communities. They might be more comfortable talking to another black person about it, but involving others could be seen as patronizing.
Dale, what thinks you?

Funny thing about how domestic abuse is reported, and how its experienced.
Straight couples have a certain level of abuse. The amount differs widely when you compare anonymous surveys to DOJ statistics. Anyone with a bit of brains knows the anonymous surveys are more accurate. Well, those same surveys show that homosexual male couples have half the rate of DV as straights, and homosexual females have twice straight level.
Always thought this was funny.

Chris Kyle's death seems to confirm that "he who lives by the sword dies by the sword." Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense
— Ron Paul (@RonPaul) February 4, 2013
I think shooting is cathartic. My best guess is that the Kyle said some stupid shit to the former Marine that got him angry.

I think I got this thing figured out. Instead of hating on people who want to dominate maybe I should ask "Can't someone who wants to submit to their lover be allowed to be free?" The truth is about half the population wants to be subordinate and there is nothing wrong with that. Instead of expecting Dale or MWD to hold themselves to some sort of ideal (that I can't even achieve) maybe I should look up to them for admitting the world is how it is. We have liberty guys all over the place complaining about there not being enough ladies in the movement, but maybe libertarian men need to man up. Most women want a strong guy to rescue them, fix problems etc. I'll bet a feminine gay man is like that as well. We should sell subordinate people what they want instead of busting on them for being weak. I submit that maybe offering the bottoms what they are after, a supportive giving partner, would be a good sell. Time will tell if humanity can have a population raised with the NAP in mind and end up in equal partnerships having successful families, but that isn't the world we live in right now.
Like slaves? That just might work.

Yup. Evolution is not only confined to biology. You can see it everywhere.
On the battlefield, the Macedonian Phalanx defeated the Greek Phalanx, and became the European standard. When the Romans developed the Legion, they wiped the phalanx off the face of the earth.
Eventually, compound bows and cataphracts defeated the legion, and the world languished when the Romans and Persians fought wars against one another for centuries. When both empires fell from costly, pointless warfare, the cataphract turned into a mounted knight, and the legion evolved from javelins and swords into halberds. The crossbow, gunpowder, and the trebuchet made armor, and fortifications pointless.
In media, the telephone destroyed Morse code, which itself made the pony express go out of business after only a year and a half. Fiber optics will eventually make cable, and phone lines obsolete. Talkies and color ended the silent movie era. New things displace the old.
So yeah. Evolution is everywhere.

And once again, they establish one set of rules for themselves, and another for us. Makes me wonder if I could become a cop for a month just for the bennies.
I plan on riding through this scare by buying only an AR lower. I figure if anything happens, I can still get a parts kit sent to my home via mail, and if nothing happens, the prices will be low enough for me to get a parts kit for pretty cheap.
