Yeah we watched Godzilla movies and played with Legos and ate dinner.
So I missed a football game, yes?
<<<HAS MISSED ALL OF THE FOOTBALL GAMES.
Ya, you missed something alright. I donno if it qualifies as a football game. I think it was a spectacle with football between the commercials.

In Manhattan this summer, in a t-shirt shop, I actually got my X to buy this shirt for her BF - rather than a CBGB OMFUG shirt, or a Lennon tee, or any other bullshit.. She said he was a geek, so I figured we'll see about that.. Never heard of it again. Even without knowing the origin, it's still a super cool logo.

I think calling Tetris geeky should be grounds for eviction from the geek thread.
Tetris IS geeky. People actually bought computers to play Tetris. It's just that it caught on with the mainstream. Maybe you just don't remember when it first came out. There was a lot of rabble about people seeing it in their sleep. Same with PacMan. Those are the games that launched home consoles. If that's not geeky, I donno what is.

The only truly geekworthy thing I regularly return to is Tetris. It never really gets old. And even if I do "forget" about it, years later when I pick it back up, it's like an old friend.
I would like to own a real pinball machine. Full-size, not some half-assed model you can get at Sharper Image. Addams Family was probably my all-time fav.
Also, an old skool Battlezone machine would be dope.

We were watching for a while, but when the Pats pulled ahead, my gf got all upset and went home.
At least I got some peace and quiet out of the deal.
Dude.. I think your 'ol lady and my X should get together. Maybe they could get their storming-out routine down to a vaudevillian act, and then clapping would be appropriate.
