I tend to be skeptical of self righteous people, in fact someone calling a woman dressed sexily a whore or some such makes me want to be violent. People that need to dominate piss me right off. I have trouble seeing the difference between people who wish to be submissive with people who have Stockholm syndrome, so I wanted to call out "tops" again when that nutcase with the women chained in his house was caught. Course that would have been incorrect, I simply can't make the world my way, and people have the right to have opinions and lifestyles (as long as they not be forcing others).
 I think admitting when you are responding wrongly to something is the first step to improving ones self.

You see you are right; Those Muslims with power do suck, it just isn't the religion that is the problem (and it sure as hell isn't middle Eastern people who tend to be very honest traders) it's people with power. I read your post then listened to the podcast, expecting NOT a retraction, a update and a straight up apology, with a promise to add a disclaimer to the podcast everybody is bitching about. It is not possible to make you happy. I assume anyone else wanting to be in a special group that no one gets to talk about can never be happy either. Talking to people who look for something to make them feel oppressed is a waste of time.
