The Polling Pit / Re: Wrongful banning
« on: September 30, 2012, 09:02:48 AM »
Well who gets wrongfully banned from the mall?

It's privately owned cyber property with public access.

Until there's some over riding civil law,  the owners reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Yeah yeah, it's a Jim crowe law, but that means absolutely jack shyte.

They might also let in people you don't like.

You get to do what you want in your popsicle stand and the popsicle stand down the block gets to do what they want  in their establishment. Free enterprise. It's a good thing. Get on board.

If it rubs one the wrong way, possibly take it where the sun shines the way you want it.

Is this about necro felchers now?

I heard that was some bad shyte, mostly undertaken by undertakers.

But then you never can tell when someone on bath salts might try to pork some roadkill. I hear the highway dept does it all the time. without a permit no less. Unprotected sex, too, I'm hearing.

Dalebert, I appreciate that and look forward to it.

Fair enough.

I was hoping for some different povs than the 'government will save you' run of the mill propaganda I hear, but burn out is real. I understand.

Cheers.

Guns, Drugs, and Crazy Independence Stuff / Re: Harassed for Carrying a Gun

According to the asshole feds, I can't even HAVE a gun if I'm a cannabis patient.  Funny how having a medical condition deprives me of a constitutional right.  Fuckers.

What about a flintlock?

They fly under the radar for the most part. They are not under attack from the Un gun nazis. Even in Canada, a ridiculously fearful state of citizen owned guns, flintlocks are not really considered firearms. You do not have to be licensed to own a flintlock. Anyone can walk into a gun store and buy a flintlock.

I would be surprised if they could stop you from owing a flintlock. And make no mistake, although they are slow to load, they are just as deadly today as they were 235 years ago. And there is nothing like it and they are a blast to shoot.

So the deal is that no one really has anything left to say.

I thought there was some form of xenophobia overcoming the fsp.

When the voices of Liberty fall silent, so does Liberty.

Can't remember which annual study, but according to a recent CATO Daily Podcast, Canada passed the US in economic freedom this year...or rather, the US fell below Canaday.

Yeah, competing fascist states. Too much bureaucracy stateside, and the OSHED type bullshyte, such as in the FTL advertisement with the guy that invents the anti gravity shoes.

Maybe it's because Canada gives grants and large tax breaks to new business from outside the country.

They are far less paranoid up here of the turrrissts. Everyone is still under suspicion, especially if you own guns.

But make no mistake, Canada is the de facto 51st state. So they won't wander far off the US dictated path. The Canadian economy is 90% dependent on the US economy, so they can't afford to.

BTW, for the record, I'm an American living in Canada. Born and raised in Oklahoma.

I hope I'm not being too forward and not entering where I'm not welcome.

But how would the minimal coercion argument proceed from the Free state project?

By that, I mean a minimally coercive state, a volunteer society.

And being an ultra fiscal conservative, I do mean minimal.

That's ridiculous! What a steaming pile.

I live in Canada. You can get a pistol license and a pot license. there is no connection between the two made by the feds when it's done legally.

Mind you, there is no right to carry and pistols can only be used for targets or if you're a trapper.

Canada sucks in most other ways when it comes to freedom.

I wonder if the ONDCP has issued a directive?

I also wonder if the cops already knew you were not growers.

This is suspect. but the state is always suspect.

So BJ, does this mean that you have no problem getting white guys to arse fuck you?

Cigar loving newbie here. I don't smoke cigarettes.

I smoke Cubans. They are the best there is.
