The Show / Free pound of nothing
« on: November 09, 2014, 12:37:08 AM »
They keep saying "Free pound of coffee... Free...free free" -

Folks it is NOT free or anything near free.  This is totally deceptive - the shipping they charge covers the cost of the shipping AND the product.

If you think it is free then ask them if you can pick it up at their original location and see how that goes...

Episodes & Show Prep / Defending scary berries

That caller's warning was not so far from the truth - now we find out the cost will be about twice what was being repeated.  Well, You can make the cost as low as you want and then jack the shipping to make up for it anyway.  Are there really that many people who want to afford a 35+ box of candy fruit?  Buying overpriced food via the mail is always a risk to begin with.  Repeat customer and high-volume sales not needed huh... just a few poor gullible bastards to buy a box and then on to the next great thing (how about some more "free" coffee to go with that).

The Show / Host excessive behaviour
« on: May 14, 2013, 02:38:25 AM »
One of the hosts needs to get a grip on the obnoxious, loud and annoying vocals lately.  Last night was just too much - the podcast was halted at my household and really I was happy to turn it off because it was becoming irritating listening to him going on over Rand Paul.  It's like an old woman in the room that you just want to tell to shut up and breath.  It's too bad because I want to hear the subject matter and the other hosts but not with this nonsense.  While the program overall is definitely more entertaining than a ten-minute blow-hard like "ernest hancock", these outbursts are not helping the value of the conversation there and making me want to take a long break from it.

I am not sure what has happened with this program, but it can only get better at this point.  I could not get halfway through this episode with these new hacks for hosts.

General / End the FSP

If it has brought awareness to the idea of liberty, that's wonderful.  But getting more people to 'sign' on that web site is not going to save it.  This project has been going on for a long time, and most of the signers are long since gone.  You can not expect any significant number who signed on that list in the past to be moving to another place in the distant future.  If they are going to do so, it is something that happens sooner than later.  The spin that you hear drilled repeatedly on the radio is not the real situation, and anyone who says otherwise is just part of the conspiracy.  In fact people who moved have either moved on or gone back home - something that seemed to accelerate starting last year.  What you have is a small group of people with irregular, scattered interests compared to the ridiculous ten-thousand number.

It is time to end the extended appearance, quit claiming something that is not, and drop the misleading statistics.  At the very least a RESET is in order with simple, reasonable conditions instead of disenchanting complications unless the government is behind this whole thing, in which case it would continue as it has been.

The Show / Looking for ideas for the FTL drinking game
« on: October 12, 2010, 04:48:33 PM »
Every time Mark says "Marcadis Center" (Isn't that where earthquakes begin?) take a drink!

Every time Ian says "Thousands of people moving for" (99.9% of them never leave the house) take a drink!
