The Show / Re: Show hosts need to take Bradley to task on his apologism for cops.
« on: August 15, 2012, 04:55:35 AM »
I think it is a good thing to start out skeptical of stories. That is not only historically validated, but necessary if one is going to identify aggression where it actually occurs. I think Bradley was right to suggest there was more to the story. Was he denying everything outright, or just suggesting that judgement should be based on more information, because that isn't apologism?
Not specific to these comments - sometimes the liberty community automatically accepts stories just because they validate the violence of the state, regardless of evidence. I think it best to be on guard for that reaction.

The Show / Re: I liked the Edginton Post tacked on the end of the podcast
« on: July 28, 2012, 06:05:58 AM »
They're still attached to the end of the AMP feed podcasts. I kind of like them separate - giving me the option of keeping up with them when I fall behind on the regular show. In fact, I would like if it was a completely separate feed I could subscribe to.

General / Re: Rand Paul endorses Mitt Romney (Hannity, 6/7/12)
« on: June 09, 2012, 07:10:00 PM »
I think we all knew since his campaign that Rand was far from Ron Paul, intellectually and philosophically, and is much more of a politician and compromiser. He's a little better than the other politicians, but not worthy of the work that people, who otherwise would not involve themselves in politics, have done for Ron Paul's campaign. May as well prepare to see the ugly sight of Rand on the stump for Romney.

General / Re: Tired of juvenile stunts misrepresenting the FSP. Canceled my AMP.
« on: May 30, 2012, 08:41:29 PM »
Why would a liberty-minded person have a problem with people smoking dope in a drum circle on central square - whether it is regarded as activism or not?
I think a lot of civil disobedience has flaws, but I don't have to go to jail or answer for those who participate. Political activism has flaws as well, to say the least.
