I found episode 39 amusing and entertaining.

As they discussed getting older i kept thinking "Child, your BRAIN is not completely formed until you are 25."

And further on it I was thinking "youth is wasted on the young".

Good show.

Candy was sharp as a pin and spot on in that age podcast. Usually she scares the hell out of me. I think people waiting too long to have kids is a bit off myself. At my daughters kindergarden I am far from the oldest parent there. I have stretched the parenting role to almost Hollywood levels. Had my first child at 24 and my latest at 40. I will be caring for kids for a total of 34 years if I don't die before I am 58. I think my parents were smarter who had three kids and were done when they were only 45. Now they pretty much do whatever they hell they want but they really busted their asses from 20 to 30.

Her take on psychedelics and psychiatry raised my eyebrows as well.

Candy mentioned wanting kids someday as well. Good to hear libertarians wanting kids actually. I get a little bummed sometimes when most of the FTL universe saying "no kids for me" all the time.

Just to clarify, I'm not calling the people who say that stuffy. They're the wiser ones. I'm saying the reason youth is wasted on the young in the first place is because there are stuffy old(er) people over-selling the idea that they should spend all their time preparing for the future, and at the same time telling them all the things that are supposed to make them happy, i.e. telling them how to prepare for the future, like go to college, get married, buy a home, have kids, invest in a 401k, etc.

Then next thing you know, their youth is gone and here comes mid-life crisis. I was an INFP so I had my mid-life crisis at about 21.
