Hamas: Israel distributes libido-increasing gum in Gaza
Is Israel targeting the Palestinian population in Gaza by distributing libido-increasing chewing gum in the Strip? A Hamas police spokesman in the Gaza Strip Islam Shahwan claimed Monday that Israeli intelligence operatives are attempting to "destroy" the young generation by distributing such materials in the coastal enclave.
Shahwan said that the police got their hands on gum that increases sexual desire that, according to him, reaches merchants in the Strip by way of the border crossings. According to him, a Palestinian drug dealer admitted that he sold products that increase sex drive. The dealer said that he received the materials from Israeli sources by way of the Karni crossing.
A number of suspects have been arrested.
The affair was exposed when a Palestinian filed a complaint that his daughter chewed the aforementioned gum and experienced the dubious side effects.
Shahwan even claimed that Israeli intelligence operatives encourage dealers in Gaza to distribute the gum for free.
"The Israelis seek to destroy the Palestinians' social infrastructure with these products and to hurt the young generation by distributing drugs and sex stimulants," said Shahwan.
However, he noted that drugs reach the Gaza Strip by way of Rafah tunnels, and said that the police keep a close watch on the illegal activities going on in the tunnels between Gaza and Egypt.
Shahwan added that the police have recently seized large amounts of drugs and alcohol attached to the underside of automobiles passing through Erez crossing. The automobile owners admitted receiving help for smuggling the materials from Israeli intelligence operatives.

Dude, "Hamas" is not a synonym for "Fact" (to say the least). None of the text you quoted contained any worthy evidence for this alleged "libido-increasing" gum, aside from unfounded accusations by Hamas officials and Palestinian "testimonials". Why, Hamas claim lots of things, 99% of which is pure nonsense.
And I do agree with the posts here that claim that if this thing existed it would be a world-wide best-seller, first and foremost in Israel itself.
This item does go towards showing one thing - that there is no "siege" of Gaza as the pro-Hamas members of this forum like to call it. Consumer goods such as gum are not restricted. Restriction on import of goods into Gaza focuses solely on preventing armament of Hamas and reducing Iranian influence in Gaza - two factors that should be in the highest Palestinian interest.

There is a siege of Gaza. I am not pro-Hamas I am pro human rights. How many times has Israel been caught lying now by the international community? How many secret prisons in Israel? I suppose cement and lumber are banned because instead of building buildings the residents in Gaza would build Trebuchets and hurl concrete blocks at Israeli.

I have to agree with blackie.
Is it possible yes, likely no. Not because the mindset isn't present to do such a thing. Rather it would be far too easy to get busted. This isn't the first time Israel has been accused of adulterating food and water supplies. Gaza is only left with it's suspicions because of a lack of access to independent lab testing. The evidence of tampering at this point is only circumstantial. People ask why would Israel not allow a French company to build a water purification system in the Gaza? One could get the impression there are contaminants in the water which Israel doesn't want removed. Also, why is it the majority of food going into Gaza has to be transported from Israeli land. Gaza has a port of their own. Proof, no but highly suspect yes.
For those who think it would take off on the market here in the US is such a gum existed. The FDA would never allow it. There are just far too many negative side effects especially on young otherwise healthy girls and women. The only over the counter progesterone product is a cream. Which you can get at health food stores. Odd note this cream is usually found in brothel raids. The progesterone cream was mentioned in conjunction with white slavery to get the girls more receptive.
We have conspiracy theorist in this country that think population control scientist are contaminating water supplies in the US to limit the population. I am more inclined to think it is accidental environmental contamination from plastics and birth control pills. That the pollution has resulted in lowering the fertility rates and not anything that was planned. But because there is so much money at stake this contamination link to infertility is being covered up.
