Call me pessimistic, but I think that as technology advances, saving doctors overhead costs, the govt steps right in and just increases their fees on doctors to make up the difference.

Govt - "Oh hey, look at this neat little doohickey! Saves ya 40k a year ya say? Well, that's good, doc, because we came to tell you that your licensing fees have gone up 42k per year."

Doc - " Fuuuuuuu!!!!"

But here's where to be optimistic.

Peer to Peer medicine should get you out of Amurica, you'll be able to link with a doctor in Singapore, India, wherever.

3-D printers, Bitcoins, Peer to Peer solutions, the future is getting bright.

Yeah, the whole 3D printing thing, specifically, has me pretty excited about the near future and the possibilities of what it means for the big picture. It's hard to wrap your head around when you think about all of the industries that will see some massive changes in the way they do business, similar to what the mp3 did to the music industry.

Real game changer.
