Working.  Mandatory Thursday-Monday.

Saturday - 5k race with the family, followed by a 30-40 mile solo ride for a sanity break. (It's been a very long last few weeks of school.)

Sunday - Hike/Picnic or Swimming, depending on temps.

Monday - Long slow run (8-10 mile), then burgers and Munchkin. Maybe time at the pool, too.

Moving.

Sold my over priced home and moving into a much more financially sane one that is bigger, newer and in a better neighborhood. Got lucky with the sale (short) and will not complain about moving over the long weekend.

Moving 15 to 18 thousand books is going to be a bitch, but I believe I will pick up some cheap help when I get the u-haul. I really need to pick up some es Spaniol for such type times.

Once done, I will partake in a brew or two. Not to many as I am in training and beer does not really fit into the schedule to well and it drags on the next couple of workouts.

My dad was here the last three days so I need a vacation from my vacation.  Tonight, I'm gonna play the crap out of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Tomorrow, I'm going to go buy a bicycle, and maybe, just maybe, get to see my boyfriend, and then Sunday, I'm going to build a bookcase and watch NASCAR (with the boyfriend, despite his reluctance to do so). Dunno what's on tap for Monday, and I'm being forced to take an extra-long weekend with a day off on Tuesday (new policy at the Big Blue Box, due to other stores in the district underperforming.)

Add gambling to the list of things on my Memorial Day Weekend. And corrupting minors by encouraging gambling. 5k race with family was fantastic!
My teenager loped past me in the last 1/2 mile and beat me by a little over 30 seconds. I owe him $5, and couldn't be happier.

Now, since the kids have earned loads of xbox time by running, and storm clouds are moving in, it's time for several hours of video games, big fat sandwiches, and probably brownies.

To E.B. - Congrats on upcoming bicycle purchase! I'll be off on a riding date on my latest addition tomorrow, weather permitting:

Usually ride the road bike on long rides, but will be out with a slower rider, so a 38 year old steel frame 10-speed still undergoing restoration is the proper choice.
