I've had people try to do the same exact thing to me several times.  I always check out their stuff and then totally low ball them (like 15 bucks instead of the 150 or w/e they're asking for).  These people are usually super shady and while talking to them I put my hand into my backpocket where I keep my 4" lock blade in case they're interested in more than just selling shitty speakers.
