I would like to say a few words on behalf of polytheism.  It is easy to have reverence for the deity responsible for the truly magnificent aspects of creation:stars in the heavens, mountain ranges, girlfriends who will give an occasional BJ. What is needful is a lesser god, a day labor wino god who can be held accountable for mosquitos, phleghm, tooth decay, lawyers...

What we need is for people to cast off the yoke of god and for people to take control of their own lives as free men and women. We don't need the bullshit religious texts of a bunch of barbarians directing our lives for us anymore.

Reverence for what? People? Life? The Only truly magnificent are all the things created out of random explosions (stars, nebulas, planets).

If people were designed, it was the pathetic attempted of your drunk-ass wino god. The only reason why people think things are designed well is because they are uneducated, anti-science, dumb fucks. As soon as a person opens their eyes (learning how to read books is a good start), they start to see all the things in the world that would work better if designed properly. We come from chaos, not a creator with a well-thought out blueprint.
