More pedo frenzy

More of what I have talked about before, which I referred to as "pedo frenzy", or a cultural over-reaching/over-reacting, and paranoia with regard to pedophilia. As libertarians, we seem to take an innocent until proven guilty and anti-police-state approach... except when kids are involved. Then all kinds of intrusion into people's behaviors and privacy are justified. People feigned ignorance of my point, but it's just an act that we have to engage in because the pedo frenzy is so out of control that people are constantly in the mode of proving they're not pedophiles by hopping onto the pedo frenzy bandwagon. But we have to acknowledge it if we want to find effective ways to combat pedophilia and get past this knee-jerk pedo frenzy crap that is completely out of hand and ineffective. Like Homeland Security, the war on terror, and the TSA--it's security theater.

It is simply one more arm of the feminist movement. The pedophile scare makes it easier for the judges to award the kids to the mother no matter how blatantly psychotic she is. This problem doesn't exist in Norway for the same reason men are not crushed in a divorce. The women's movement in Scandinavia isn't hypocritical.
I don't know why, they just are very fair.

I think if you understand the real dangers and threats of pedophilia, it's not hard to protect your children. Problem is the real dangers and threats are distorted by a bunch of propaganda and bad laws.

Right, but how do I protect myself from a false rape accusation?

You get very violent very fast with anybody that even starts to go there in a conversation about you and your kids. Murder has a lesser stigma and they have to prove it. I haven't had to do more then a beat down so far, and usually the threat has sufficed. The fact that people know I am capable of  violence has not been much of a hurdle.
I know I am going to get some shit but that is simply my experience.

I dont even think its the law itself thats the problem. Its when that otherwise good law is abused by some douche-bag beaurocrat for some unknown motive. Say for instance, a guy has a few beers in him and gets spotted taking a piss behind a bush at a golf course by some social services agent and is charged with exposing himself in public because some 14 yr olds just happened to be within a 300 yard radius. Gets put on a list and his whole life f-ed up because everywhere he moves, he is basically carrying a sign around his neck saying "im a CHILD MOLESTER" when all he was doing was taking a piss. Sounds weird, but it happens IRL sometimes.

Yeah, im being Captain Obvious here, but just had nothing else to say. Gotta make appearances.
