Peter Pan, original no remade shit.

Watched it on average twice a day since I got sick earlier this week (daughter loves it).

Which one? The play has been around forever, and thus video adaptations.

Ahh- I frequently assume everyone is tuned into Disney like I am.

The original Disney one.

See when I was a kid I watched a live action version even more than I watched the Disney animated version. It was one of those where Peter was played by a lady.

I'm almost positive I saw that one with a MST3K redo.. it was creepy.

I wouldnt doubt it. There was a lot of singing and weird costumes. Someone had to crawl around as the crocodile lol. And the fairy was played by a light being shone around.

I watched "All Good Things" this afternoon since it was on Showtime.  It was decent...and definitely creepy, especially considering it's a somewhat-true story.

Real Steel is good if you want to watch robots beating the crap out of each other.

Glorious 39

In spite of a great cast, and a really neat idea for portraying government conspiracy at a family level, it just never quite paid off.
It would almost get somewhere, then just leave me hanging. I felt a strong desire to watch The Third Man or anything put together by Hitchcock, just to rinse my brain with some well done conspiracies.

I agree.  It was promising and I think it could have been a lot better.  As it was, it wasn't that interesting or fulfilling.

Hebrew Hammer

This movie is horrible but hilarious.  Good contrast to the competing holiday films that are about to get crammed down our throats in the next few months.

Watching "Red State" right now. Pretty good so far, about 2/3 way through. Lotta good actors in it with relatively minor parts. John Goodman, the gay vampire from True Blood, the gay nurse from True Blood, Skylar from Breaking Bad, a few more people I recognized from films but dont really know who they are.  The religious people are clearly crazy violent people, but the movie reminds me a lot of Wacco (probably on purpose).

Saw The Sitter yesterday. They were trying to teach valuable life lessons to the kids in the movie, but it definitely wasnt a kids movie so I was confused.

The Muppets was superb!

The Inbetweeners Movie was hilarious, but you'd had to have seen the show to want to watch it or probably even enjoy it. The parts where they were making fun of the greek boyfriend got me rolling with laughter.  Gotta love a comedic asshole.

Watched this week:
Cowboys vs. Aliens on Monday. It was fun.

Repo Men on Tuesday, while finishing up a couple crochet presents. I liked it, but found I was disappointed when the bleak ending twist turned out to be what I'd joked about halfway thru the movie.

The Third Man. Always fantastic.

Your Highness, uncut version. Lots of eye rolling, equal mix of laughter and groans at the jokes, but it was a good escape from crazy schedule/serious crap going on right now.
