I have no idea why I like that show, but I do.  And trust me, it's not just the young Zeta-Jones.  Must be the 'ol English rural charm...   :shock:

OK, we all know it's a lie.  Most farms always struggled to survive financially, especially in 1950s England.  Hard work all the live-long day and little time for anything else.  And still, the fantasy prevails, including among several Free Staters.  You know who I'm talking about - or, you'll know it when you see it.  So then, this thread is for those who knowingly bite the hook, so to speak.

Which romanticized country setting appeals to you the most and why?
