he opened for joe cocker in manchester, nh....veteran's park, circa 1990
i didn't have a ticket, so i climbed onto the roof of >georges clothing mart<, where i was met w/ @ 6 other dudes hanging out on the same roof.
i went back to my van & shagged my cooler & we partied like fools.
a fat cop saw us & ran down the alley, yelling for us to come down.
he couldn't negotiate the dumpster/air-conditioner accessway us youngn's did, so he left us alone.
sadly, srv died shortly thereafter.
from that vantage point, you could barely see the stage, but the accoustics were fantastic
