Finally got into the bitcoin realm, bought 500$ today through bitinstant.com, the overall experience was very easy and went very smooth. I have been watching the market close and i hope it will continue to trend up.

It's soon going to be more profitable to mine Litecoins due to how mining Bitcoins works, and the price is going to go up. If you're into speculation, it's a very good investment at 4.6 cents/LTC. You can currently get about 250 LTC for every BTC.

So that's the gist of it.  I want to buy BTC now, and while I'm not the most technologically savvy dude out there, I think I get it.  Lots of middlemen to go through- MT. Gox, Bitinstant, etc. 
I want to pay in cash (FRNs) and get BTC.  I just want in.... have known about them forever (at least since FTL started talking about them) but didn't trust my computer skills enough. I honestly still don't, but am smart enough to write down some passwords.
