Here's an idea for a Federal Government Re-Do.
Each State gets split into two districts. Each District gets one House member and each State gets one Senate member. Total, 100 members in the House and 50 members in the Senate. House members get $40K per year, 2 year term, limit of 4 terms. Senate members get $60K per year, 4 year terms, limit 2 terms. President gets $100K per year, 4 year term, limit 2 terms.
This would get "Professional Politicians" out of our Federal Government and limit the amount of money these guys are draining form the National Budget.
We need to reel in Federal Government and give the power back to the States where it belongs.
