I now live in ground zero of Evangelical Christendom so I really need the comradery of freedom lovers.
 
I want to make clear that I don't harbor any personal animosity toward Christians, even though I believe Christian brainwashing was a major factor in the end of my marriage.  I do resent the fact they have amassed such power that they create a repressive local culture.

At least the FSP chose a place where the existing inhabitants already had a liberty mindset!

Okay..  Here goes..

No. 

In a way, I'd like to.  But the scene would probably annoy me in short order.  My tolerance for people acting nutty and preaching freedom is limited.  Also, worthy of mention, I'm not a huge fan of people taking my photograph - whether they be attendees, or Feds. 

If I could bring an RV, not sleep on the ground like a fuckin' animal, and make little forays out into the fray, then retreat into my luxury motor coach when my bullshit-o-meter is pinging off the charts, I would probably enjoy a visit.

Instead, I have decided to scout a few locations I might like to live in someday.  Maybe a few days in Nawlins.  Maybe Colorado (but damn, hate the fuckin' cold..).  Maybe Nevada.  Donno yet.

There is a week on the Boardwalk coming up, thats a def. 

Pretty much anywhere that has nightlife in walking distance, the general attitude of the locals is cool, and the prices of apartments aren't unreasonable.  There are other places on this continent where people have an open mind, y'know. 

The decision is pretty simple for me - blow about two grand at PF, or spread it around, taking affordable little sojourns, gathering some intel, and experiencing several places I'm curious about.

(No offense to the PF revelers, well wishes and all that.  Double bag your cocks)

Myself and another dude were thinking about it, but a recent job change and a few other factors like RV rental being out of the fucking stratosphere, im not too sure about that right now. I'd like to go at least once, but I dont think this year is the right time for me. Too many irons in the fire right now to just up and split for a week.


There would be hell to pay and I just cant afford that right now. Maybe next year. I'll have the pilot fly me out first class and parachute down and make a REAL entrance.
