Part 15 Stations - LowPowerAM - So easy even a girl can build it
« on: December 20, 2008, 01:02:09 PM »

Heres a poor mans low power am voice transmitter

--insert--
"Depending on the antenna, the transmitter can send voice and music across the room, or across the street.

I put together my first version with simple clip leads (no soldering, no printed circuit board, not even a battery clip). This version is much sturdier and convenient. "

Thank you for sci-toys.com
I never saw that site before -- awesomeness!
My son and I are going to have a lot of fun with the projects on that site while he is on break from school the next 2 weeks :)

Being a HAM I run across all kinds of crazy sci-projects on the net. Have you investigated any of the hardware hacking sites?

Mostly at this point I'm looking for stuff that a precocious 4.5-year-old can dig.
Van de Graaf generators == yes
Flip-flop circuits == no
