How do I add a signature?

Hi!

I don't seem to see a place in my options to add a signature line. Is that something where I have to have a minimum number of posts to do, or maybe ask a moderator to do for me? Both have been the case on other forums I've been on.

For what it is worth.
I have to log in and then go to the message board. Under my avatar at the top of the window there is a profile butten I click on that.
There is a "modify profile" menu off to the side there, I click on "Forum profile information" on that window. On the register that comes next, the custom title and signature boxes are near the bottom I just type em in. You should probably add one of your websights in the same place.
I don't think there is a waiting period.
If you don't get anywhere you can PM "Johnson" or "error" and they will square you away or give some sort of sorry excuse.
(You "PM" by finding their name and clicking on that then the "send this person a private message" button toward the bottom, we mainly use it to gang up on trolls, but I guess it could be used for real reasons as well)

The only thing we ask about sigs is you limit them to a reasonable size.  Its not a hard-assed rule, but more of a request.

(some people use big banner sigs, we simply ask you keep it to text, url's or a small strip of graphics)

Most of the controls are super-easy..  however, the recent forum rebuild has a couple buggy flaws in it.  Like, your avatar may disappear or fail to upload.

You have two other places where you could personalize your profile:  Personal text, and personal title.  Those will appear above and below of your avatar. 

Don't be shy, any mods are here to help.  We don't always respond immediately, but we'll respond.   Just look for the blue stars, click their name, and send a Personal Message.  Thats what it's there for.

Yeah, I got it figured out. And my avatar disappeared for a while and re-appeared. lol...
